Marginfi Points & Rewards – Everything You Need to Know
This guide explains how Marginfi points work, how you earn them, and how rewards are distributed.
Points Migration & Wallet Transfers
Can I migrate my points to a new wallet?
Yes! You can transfer your points to a new wallet using the official migration tool:
Once migrated, all earned points move with your new wallet.
For additional details, see: [How to Transfer Your Marginfi Portfolio](#).
Earning Points & Rewards
What are emission rewards?
Emission rewards are temporary bonuses given for lending into specific asset pools. They boost the APY for certain assets and are designed to incentivize lending. If you withdraw from an emission rewards pool, you lose any unclaimed rewards.
Tip: Claim your rewards regularly to maximize your earnings.
How many points do I earn?
- Borrowing: 4 points per unit
- Lending: 1 point per unit
(The higher point value for borrowing reflects its larger role within the ecosystem.)
Can I earn points on The Arena?
No – activity on The Arena does not earn Marginfi points.
Do isolated pools count for points?
Yes – all lending and borrowing activity counts toward Marginfi points, even in isolated pools.
Note: Assets in isolated pools cannot be used as collateral for borrowing.
For more details, see: Lending & Liquidation – Managing Your Borrowing.
Marginfi Points & Social Rewards
What are marginfi points?

What are social points?
Social points are awarded through community events, partnerships, and special campaigns. They are not tied to lending or borrowing but may have future benefits as the ecosystem evolves.
